Welcoming Two New Board Members
Through the many twists and turns this year has throw our way, our hard working Board of Directors continues to guide this ship through sustainable growth and mission integrity. We are so grateful for the opportunity to add these two incredible women to the team!
Dionn Schaffner is a community advocate discovering and implementing ways to remove barriers and enable opportunities for those who have systemically lacked access and resources but desire to succeed. She earned her MBA from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business and her BS in Computer Science from Stanford University’s School of Engineering. With a civic mindset, Dionn uses her education, experience and expertise to do inspiring work to help repair the tears in our society through her spirited advocacy and volunteer roles as an Advocate with CASA of Travis County, President of Geri’s Locker, and member of a TX state representative’s Anti-Racist Advisory Group.
Hallie Graves is a native Austinite and tireless advocate for our city’s most vulnerable. Not a fan of the linear life, Hallie is a speaker and writer, lawyer, activist, and single foster and adoptive mama. She is passionate about encouraging people to live fully in light of the grace and freedom of Jesus and to use all they’ve been given in this life for others. She loves Broadway shows, queso, yoga, words, traveling, advocacy, and her people. Hallie also volunteers her time with other well respected foster care and orphan care non-profits and has degrees in voice, physics, and law.
Thank you ladies for stepping up to serve with us!
