Brittany Martin

Resource Center Coordinator

Brittany started working with Foster Village in January 2022 as a part of her practicum at Stephen F. Austin State University. Her passion for serving others and her love for children encouraged her to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development and Family Studies, and she graduated in May 2022. Not long after that, she officially joined the team.

Brittany has been a volunteer and Guardian Ad Litem with CASA of Travis County since October 2018. She is trained in multiple areas including trauma-informed advocacy and care, secondary trauma and self-care, adult and youth mental health first aid, child sexual abuse prevention, and how to help youth in foster care develop their racial and ethnic identity.

Brittany has two cats, Dexter and Nina, who moved with her from Florida to Texas in January 2014. She grew up in Florida and Georgia as an only child. She enjoys organizing, photography, outdoor activities, camping, traveling, dancing, cooking, gardening, and learning how to repurpose furniture.
