Caregivers, TBRI Tuesday is here for you! Our Caregiver Support Coordinator, Malayia Cooley, is a certified Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) Practitioner and has devoted each Tuesday afternoon to supporting caregivers. She's available to you in person or virtually to answer questions about attachment, trust, behavior challenges, and ways to connect with your child.
Think of it as a weekly motivation, a troubleshooting session, and a time to connect with someone who can relate. Mark your calendar every Tuesday from 2-5 PM CST. Foster, adoptive, kinship, and reunified families are welcome, so reach out to Malayia to learn how to be a part.

What is TBRI®?
Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI®) is a trauma-informed, therapeutic model that helps caregivers provide support to at-risk and vulnerable children. This modality can help improve safety, attachment, behavior, emotional regulation and more, and it’s designed to empower families to support children who have experienced relational traumas. Several members of the Foster Village staff are trained practitioners in this modality and offer free coaching to families so they can learn how to use these tools in their home. We also have a licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT) who provides free therapy sessions to the families we serve by request.
