Every year around the holidays, thoughtful community members reach out with a desire to help bridge the gaps for kids and families connected to foster care.

And because we serve these kids and families all year long, we focus our efforts on the specific areas that consistently stand out as the biggest needs for children and caregivers.

We know that kids in care often receive an excess number of toys during the holidays, while other areas of their holistic care can go overlooked, so several years ago we launched Christmas Beyond the Toys. It’s a simple campaign designed with the particulars of foster, kinship, and reunifying families in mind.

Christmas Beyond the Toys

Help us meet basic needs this holiday season through our annual Christmas Beyond the Toys campaign. Each year, we focus our efforts on helping to alleviate stressors for families who have stepped up to care for additional children while also navigating unforeseen financial challenges. Whether it's a foster family in need of a new fridge or car repair, or a recently widowed mom who is managing grief and the holidays for the first time, all contributions to this initiative will help sustain families far beyond this holiday season.

If you love shopping season, check out our Amazon Wish List. Our generous community continues to help us keep our resource centers stocked with everything to help families get started on the caregiving journey for kids just entering foster care as well as kids returning home to their biological parents. Shop from home, and equip families this holiday season.

 

Donation Drives

Rally your group to come alongside kids and families this holiday season by coordinating a donation drive of our most-needed items. This is a fantastic way to engage your faith community, business, or neighborhood as we help equip children and families this Christmas.
