Accomplishing the Extraordinary with Atlas ATX10
Atlas ATX10 Leaves a Lasting Mark on Foster Village
This spring, Foster Village partnered with an incredible group of leaders from across the country through Atlas Project ATX10, and their impact was nothing short of transformational.
As part of a three-week challenge, this cohort combined hands-on work with fundraising to help bring our new North Austin Resource Center to life. From creating a cozy connection room to painting a bold mural that now declares “Community Beyond the System,” every part of the space was designed with families in mind.
Their efforts raised over $100,000, welcomed nearly 400 new donors, and created an environment where children and caregivers feel seen, supported, and not alone.
“Had I had these resources, my life would have been—his life would have been very different,” said Heather, one of the ATX10 leaders and a former foster mom who helped lead the project.
This is what it looks like when community shows up, and the ripple effects are just beginning.
