Support Us

Our goal is to make your life easier, foster parents. We know first hand how overwhelming those first days with a new placement can be (read about how we started here). We have Resource Centers in Round Rock and Dripping Springs that are stocked with basic necessities for children entering your care (at no charge to you). Our hope is that we can provide you with clothes, beds, cribs, car seats, strollers, Pack n Plays, bassinets, and other necessities that can be difficult and costly to gather with short notice.

Our Welcome Packs are designed for children coming into care as emergency placements. They are custom packed for each child and generally contain about 7 outfits, some basic toiletries, new socks, new underpants/diapers, books, and a cuddly toy.

After submitting the form below, we will be in touch within 24 hours to set up a time to get you the items that we are able to provide. You will have the option to come shop at our nearest location (free of charge) or have one of our volunteers deliver items to your home within our coverage area. We do our best to honor all requests from licensed foster families bringing in emergency placements, kinship families, case workers, CASA, and reunifying biological families working with CPS.

Our current service area includes Hays County, Travis County, and Williamson County. We are only able to deliver to families welcoming emergency placements at this time. We can make exceptions for those willing to travel to our locations.

Let us know what you are in need of on the Request form below. we will email or call you within 24 hours to discuss how we can help

Items Requesting
It is not required that you select all items listed below, please only request items that are needed. However, If you need multiples of a single item such as carseats, please let us know in the notes section below. Keep in mind, Foster Village only provides families with the basic necessities needed for an emergency placement such as clothing, shoes, and bedding. If you need support with other items such as home modifications or funds for extracurricular activities, we can provide you with a list of resources and programs.
Bed Frames & Mattresses
Beds are disassembled and boxed & mattresses are brand new.
Diapers & Pull-Ups
All diaper requests will come with wipes. Pull-Ups begin at size 2T-3T.
If you do not need a welcome pack, we would still love to know about the child/children in your care! Each welcome pack will include: - 7 outfits - socks - underwear or pullups/diapers and wipes - toiletries - books - and a cuddly toy/activity that is age appropriate. Please include a description, to the best of your knowledge, about each child that describes age, gender, shirt and pant sizes, bra/underwear sizes, likes/dislikes, special needs, etc. If you are in need of something not listed, please be sure to note that here.
Infant/Toddlers: Rookie walkers typically wear size 3-7, toddlers 7.5-10. Children: Sizes 10.5-13. Youth: Sizes 13.5-4. Women: Begins at size 5. Men: Begins at size 6.

Please note that some items (such as strollers and some clothing) are gently used donations from the community. We maintain high quality standards as we want the children and families who receive our donations to feel valued and deserving of nice things and we also do our best to be resourceful in an effort to meet all needs. However, Foster Village makes no claims, representations, or warranties (whether expressed or implied) as to the safety, reliability, durability, and performance of any of these items. Foster Village cannot accept liability whatsoever for the safety and reliability of the items we distribute.
