Foster Village Inc. is a non-profit organization that provides holistic wraparound support to children and caregivers involved in the child welfare system. We equip families with basic necessities, connect them with ongoing therapeutic support, and advocate for community awareness to bridge the gaps in child welfare.
Our close-knit team is made up of Child Development and Social Work professionals, former/current foster parents who are trained in trauma-informed care, and passionate child welfare advocates. We have two multi-use resource centers, one in Dripping Springs and one in North Austin. And we have affiliate locations throughout the U.S. We strive to be an inviting and safe space for everyone.

This role is full-time in person, primarily at our Dripping Springs resource center with some Saturdays overseeing events at our North Austin Resource Center.

Intern Opportunities
Social Work Internship
We are accepting applications for social work internships to contribute time, expertise, and research to our programs that support foster, adoptive, kinship, and reunifying families. Interns will work alongside our on-staff social worker(s). This is currently an unpaid internship.
Occupational Therapy Internship
We are accepting applications for interns who have some experience or educational background in pediatric occupational therapy. We do not have a licensed OT to supervise this role. Intern would work alongside an on-staff LMSW who oversees our Project SOOTHe program.
