Thank You, All Together Austin!
Since March, our Oak Haven resource center has provided over 2600 hours of dignified, CPS supervised emergency shelter for children who have experienced abuse and/or neglect and are awaiting suitable foster homes.
It’s the only one of its kind in Austin and is completely funded by the community.
We are so grateful for the support of All Together ATX, UnitedWayATX, and Austin Community Foundation and the $20,000 grant that they have provided to keep this safe haven up and running during this critical time.
This community-led philanthropic fund has provided resources to nonprofit organizations working with communities who are disproportionately impacted by COVID-19 and the economic consequences of the outbreak.
